Regional Anaesthesia- is to numb a whole region of the body, through which the patient would unable to feel any pain in his/her particular part of the body, such as arm or leg.

General Anaesthesia- Acts on the whole body. The patient directly goes to sleep while the procedure having no memory of having it.
